Customers arrange the truck or other transportation for belongings being relocated, or a suitable roll-off dumpster or other disposal option for unwanted contents. We confirm the agreed labor and any cleaning afterward in a written estimate. We do not provide hauling or disposal services, and we do not handle hazardous waste.
If you are keeping or relocating the contents
Arrange a suitable truck or other means of transportation. Before requesting help, identify which belongings need to move and where they should be staged or loaded. Tell us about large or unusually heavy items, narrow doors, steps and the distance between the building and the loading area.
Our estimate confirms the labor we can provide for the agreed items. Transportation to the destination is your responsibility. If you need packing materials or protective supplies, discuss those needs before the work is scheduled rather than assuming they are included.
If you are discarding the contents
Arrange a suitable roll-off dumpster or another disposal option with the appropriate provider. Confirm which materials it accepts, its capacity, placement requirements and collection arrangements. Do not assume furniture, electronics, appliances or every type of debris can go into the same container.
Tell us where the container will be placed and when it will be available. We review access and the requested loading work before confirming the scope. Dumpster rental, collection and disposal are arranged separately by you.
If some items stay and others go
Use three clearly identified groups: keep in place, relocate and discard. Set aside documents, keepsakes and valuables before work begins when possible. If several people own belongings in the building, settle those decisions first.
You decide what happens to your belongings. Clear instructions help prevent a cleanout from becoming a series of last-minute decisions. Let us know if you need time or help sorting, because sorting and loading are different parts of the work.
What to tell us when requesting a cleanout estimate

- The approximate size of the building and how full it is.
- What should stay, move or be discarded.
- The type of contents, including bulky or unusually heavy items.
- Doorways, steps, carrying distance and other access limitations.
- Your plan for the truck, dumpster or other transportation or disposal option.
- Whether you also want cleaning of the emptied space.
- Your preferred timing.

Check for conditions that need special attention
Tell us before scheduling if you know of hazardous waste, pest contamination, water damage or unsafe floors, walls or roofing. We do not handle hazardous waste. Conditions outside ordinary cleanout labor may need a qualified specialist and must be reviewed before work can proceed.
Do not move or mix unknown materials just to prepare for a cleanout. Identify concerns when you contact us so the scope can be assessed appropriately.
Clearing the contents and cleaning the building are separate tasks
Once a space is cleared, you may want help with cleaning it. Describe the surfaces and condition so we can confirm what can be included in the written estimate. Do not assume that clearing a building includes every cleaning task or repairs.
